Directions

to the New Wing of New Rochelle High School and the Museum of Arts & Culture

NOTE: The address for New Rochelle High School is 265 Clove Road, off Eastchester Road, but the New Wing is located on North Avenue at Braemer Avenue. The entrance is near the tennis courts on North Avenue, across the street from the statue of the Huguenot, Jacob Leisler.

FROM the NORTH via I 95

Take I95 to Exit 16. Follow signs to North Avenue and continue through the business district, past City Hall, and past Iona College on your right. As you cross Eastchester Road you will see New Rochelle High School on your left; continue on North Avenue to the next left, which is Braemer. (There are tennis courts on the left and a statue of a man in a flowing cape on your right.) Turn left onto Braemer and left again immediately into the parking lot for the new wing of New Rochelle High School.

FROM the south via I 95

Take I 95 to Exit 16 as above.

FROM the NORTH via Hutchinson River Parkway

Take the Hutchinson Parkway South to Exit 18 E (after underpass). Turn right onto  North Avenue at traffic light. Continue on North Avenue, past the Ursuline School on your right, through the Wykagyl business district and past Wykagyl Country Club on your left. You will also pass the Thomas Paine Museum on your left. At the next traffic light turn right on to Braemer and immediately turn left into the parking lot for the new wing of New Rochelle High School.

FROM the SOUTH via the Hutchinson Parkway

Get off at Exit 10. At end of the ramp there is a stop sign; turn right onto New Rochelle Road. Follow New Rochelle Road to Eastchester Road (there is a traffic light there). Turn left onto Eastchester Road and continue up the hill, across Webster Avenue, and continue on Eastchester Road until it ends at North Avenue (the Huguenot Park playground is at that corner, next to the Huguenot Children’s Library). Turn left onto North Avenue; you will see New Rochelle High School to your left as you drive along North Avenue. The new wing is at the end of the complex: When you come to the intersection of North Avenue and Braemer (there is a statue of a man in a flowing cape on your right and tennis courts on your left) turn left onto Braemer and immediately left again into the parking lot for the new wing of New Rochelle High School.

FROM Larchmont, Mamaroneck and Rye via US 1

Take the Boston Post Road south. Turn right onto Weaver Street and continue to Quaker Ridge Road. Turn left onto Quaker Ridge Road and continue to the end; turn left onto North Avenue. Continue on North Avenue through the Wykagyl business district and past Wykagyl Country Club on your left. You will also pass the Thomas Paine Museum on your left. At the next traffic light turn right on to Braemer and immediately turn left into the parking lot for the new wing of New Rochelle High School.
